This site provides consumers a "one-stop shop" for information on rebates, tax credits, and incentives for solar energy systems in California.

Our mission is to research and develop energy technologies that enhance Florida's and the nation's economy and environment and to educate the public, students and practitioners on the results of the research.

The Florida Solar Energy Center (FSEC) was created by the Florida Legislature in 1975 to serve as the state’s energy research institute. The main responsibilities of the center are to conduct research, test and certify solar systems and develop education programs.

Solar energy is one of our most abundant renewable resources. The California Solar Initiative is moving the state toward using more solar energy and helping to lower the cost of solar systems for consumers. 

The California Solar Initiative is part of the statewide effort to install 3,000 megawatts of new, grid-connected solar systems by 2016.  The CPUC-directed program provides $1.167 billion in rebates and cash incentives on solar systems to customers of Pacific Gas and Electric Company, Southern California Edison, and San Diego Gas and Electric Company.
